"In year 1932 at the divine seat of Haridwar, on the bank of holy river 'Mother Ganga' the great visionary, his holiness P.P.Swami Kripalu Dev ji Maharaj started'Vishwa Jnana Mandir' which later on became famous as 'Kripalu Bag Ashram'. This Ashram was a centre of revolutionist and sheltered Ras Bihari Bose and others who scarificed their life during the struggle of freedom. From this very place, on 15th january 1995, Swami Ramdev ji Maharaj and Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj under the patronage of Pujya Swami Shankar dev Ji Maharaj, established Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust) and started their services to mankind.Focusing on preservation and promotion of health and to serve the ailing huminity, a college of Ayurveda 'Patanjali Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Evam Anusandhan Sansthan' has been established by Divya Yoga Mandir (Trust) to produce skilled human brings Ayurvedic Physicians. The college is situated in a very peaceful environment surrounded by lush green area on the Delhi-Haridwar National Highway .

COURSE DETAILS :

Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (BAMS) (Ayurved Acharya)

  • UG Course Duration: 4 ½ years + 1 year compulsory Rotatory Internship (Regular)
  • Sanctioned Intake Capacity: UG - 100

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES :

The aim of the BAMS course is to impart thorough and comprehensive training to the aspirants in the various aspects of Ayurveda so that at the end of the course he/she shall be able to perform the following:

  • Recognize the importance of Ayurvedic Principles in the context of the health needs of the community.
  • To be able to diagnose and manage acute and chronic diseases on the basis of clinical assessment and appropriately selected and conducted investigations.
  • To be able to carry out efficient Ayurvedic management of all types of ailments after quickly assessing the patient and synthesizing available clinical and investigational information to formulate totality of symptoms and appropriately manage condition.
  • To be able to identify social, economic, environmental, biological, and emotional determinants of health in a given case, and take them into account while planning therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive measures/strategies.
  • To keep abreast of the current knowledge and recent advances in the field by self-learning and/or participating in continuing Medical Education Programmes.
  • To be able to critically analyze relevant published research literature and use them appropriately to influence the practice of Ayurveda.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Admission process starts every year as per the guideline of NCISM, Ayush Ministry, Govt. of India, and schedule of Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Harrawala, Dehradun. Probably, the admission process starts every year in the month of June. (I) For admission in the B.A.M.S. course, applicants have to qualify Entrance Test of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The qualified candidates in the entrance test are called for counseling in order of merit, and admissions are made accordingly by Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Harrawala, Dehradun. (II) For admission in the M.D./M.S.(Ayu.) course, applicants have to qualify Entrance Test All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). The qualified candidates in the entrance test are called for counseling in order of merit, and admissions are made accordingly by Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Harrawala, Dehradun.

AFFILIATION :

The institution is affiliated with Uttarakhand Ayurved University,Harrawala, Dehradun. There are fourteen departments in the college and teaching faculty is appointed as per the rules prescribed by the CCIM and Govt. of India. To conduct the course (B.A.M.S.) course , permission is granted by the AYUSH Department, Government of India with recommendation of Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi and no objection certified from State Government of Uttarakhand.

COURSE FEE DETAILS :

  • B.A.M.S. course, Tuition fee is Rs. 2,15,000/- per year.
  • Hostel fee (Fooding and Lodging) Is Rs. 72,000/-per year.
  1. Hostel compulsory for UG – B.A.M.S. students only.
  2. Stipend Rs.5000/- per month in Non clinical subjects for PG students.

The Fee will be paid by DD in Favour of Patanjali Bhartiya Ayurvigyan evam Anusandhan Sansthan or deposit through RTGS/NEFT in SBI bank account- A/C no. 42725566345 (Patanjali Bhartiya Ayurvigyan evam Anusandhan Sansthan) and submit bank payinslip/online transfer acknowledgement. Bank Branch SBI Patanjali Yogpeeth, Santersah, IFSC Code is SBIN0012228. Tuition fee and Hostel fee will be deposited annually at once in start of every Year/Prof. If any Student leaves Hostel in any month of the year, the balance amount will not be returned. If any student leaves the course after admission, he would have to pay the fee for rest of duration of the course.
